• 40 to 199 miles: $1,000 off
• Less than 40 miles: $500 off
• Electric cars with an MSRP higher than $42,000: $500 off

Federal EV Tax Credits

• A gross vehicle weight rating of less than 14,000 pounds

• Made by a qualified manufacturer
• Meets critical mineral and battery component requirements
• Undergone final assembly in North America

Also, buyers must not make more than these income caps in order to utilize a federal EV tax credit:

• $300,000 for married couples filing jointly or a surviving spouse
• $225,000 for heads of households
• $150,000 for all other filers
